1:30am wake up call!

So sweet and innocent?

What the hell is Mollie thinking? She wakes me up at 1:30am by ringing the "bell" on her door.
So I let her out and head to the bathroom myself. I come back downstairs and open the door to let her in and she is not waiting at the door. This is not a good sign. I call and she slithers around the bushes and hesitantly comes inside. Of course, within 2 mins she is ringing the bell again. Now is when my patience is tested. I get up and let her out again and quietly tell her to GO TO THE POTTY! I wait ten minutes and open the door to find her moon bathing, looking over her shoulder at me like I'm raining on her parade. "It's late Mollie, this is not the time to hang out" I think to myself. I make her come in and she acts like she has been eating straight sugar. She runs upstairs, gets in her toys and pulls a bone out and drops it on the hard wood floor. "Nice Mollie," how does Emily sleep through these times? So then she runs back down stairs after I have climbed back into bed and rings the damn bell again. Unbelievable! So I get up for the 4th time now and let her outside. I set the alarm clock for 45 mins, which is now 2:50 am. I wake to the alarm at nearly 3am and open the door to find the dog looking over her shoulder at me like..."I'm fine, why are you bothering me?" I tell her to get inside and make her get on her bed and "go to sleep" hoping she will not get up again.

Thankfully she stayed in bed until 8:30 when I got up. She once again bolted towards the door and has been outside for the last couple hours.

The strange part about this is, normally Mollie doesn't get out of bed until after 10am, especially when she has had a walk, and yesterday she had a walk and a swim.

This is what makes me nervous to have children. Emily doesn't even hear these 'sessions' and rarely wakes up when Mollie starts ringing the bell. My sleep is to valuable Mollie!

Notice how close her bed is to our bed, if she rolls over I hear her.
