Tractor Pull #2 (tuckahoe steam and gas association)
My wonderful wife accompanied me to the local tractor pull Friday evening. She said it may be her first and last. But, with some time I'm sure she won't be able to stay away. The $15 gate fee was part of the hesitation for her.
(proceed only with redneck interest)...
I believe this Allis-Chalmers was running multiple turbos on one giant diesel motor. These tractors have an awesome turbine sound and each one in the super stock class has a distinctive sound.
Those deere have a nice green look to 'em.
Maybe a blue New-Holland to plow the garden with? These are still the same super stock class with the awesome sounding/pulling engines.

A Case-International running on alcohol, again with a totally different sound, kind of a whirrrr with some deep base and crisp, with minimal visible exhaust. You can ask E and have her re-innact this tractors sounds for you.
Not sure of the make on this tractor blowing smoke rings while at idle and low power. It was a new tractor, less than 5 pulls. It stopped very short with no visible breakage and left the track under power. Another smoke blower. Over 310 feet is a full-pull.
And everyone's favorite(?) a john-deere named "one more deere." She blew beautiful, powerful, black smoke.
This "Hillbilly's Bear" was E's favorite, this one made her think she'd like her husband to have a tractor-pull tractor in her garage someday. Below the steering wheel I think it says..."Special thanks to my wife Lisa."

Emily made it through 2 hrs for her first pull. After the first tractor class, the rest of the tractors and trucks are unbelievably and uncomfortably loud and not as impressive to me as the stock modifieds and multiple engine super mega machines, so we left and missed a lot of traffic. Also the camera battery was dead. Thanks to Emily for her patience.("just 1 more pull after the next" she kept hearing)

Its definitely my last...
