Tractor Rides

Willy and Maggie blessed their Uncle Todd(U-tah) with smiles and giggles on Sunday for some tractor time. We first sat on the tractor in the barn and got accustomed to it's 'feel' and waited till eventually we heard "when are we going to go Uncle Todd?" So I asked if Willy was ready for the loud noise and all was fine. We moved some gravel and cruised around the barn and enjoyed the sunshine from the seat of a deere. (oh what fun)

1st ride @ Landing MX

I flagged at The Landing MX on Sat and earned free riding for practice days. It costs $50 to join and $25/day there after or $500 for an unlimited pass. So I cashed in on my free rides. Talk about old man, I probably did 20-25 laps on some very short tracks. One was intented for Pit bikes so it was real fun, with some grooming it would be dangerous. Nice bowled out bermed corners and flat table jumps. I somehow lost a washer that goes under my gas cap so after about 15 laps I noticed a strong gas smell and some moistness between my legs. So what does anyone do who hasn't rode for 5 months? I rode some more to see for sure where the petro was coming from and then loaded up and came home. The entire outing was less than 2 hrs including 14 miles of drive round trip. Pretty short, but I am already having a hard time with our stairs to the apartment(we have alot). Tomorrow I will hardly be able to walk. But next week my speed will be a little more and my quads will be in a little better shape.
